Who I am
More than
a GPA.
Hi, I'm Krenjila.
Outside of school I dance, take photos, listen to music pretty much 24/7 and I used to do slam poetry. I'm from NJ but New York feels like home.
Before the data.
Where it all started.
First paycheck.
Started modeling at 8. Runways, TV ads, the works. I've been making my own money and showing up professionally since before middle school.
1st place, slam poetry.
Won first place across all major schools in Kathmandu. Stood in front of a room and said something true out loud. Still one of my favorite things I've ever done.
Memory champion.
Attended Adam Khoo's IAmGifted program representing Nepal alongside students from schools across Asia. Won the memory championship — 20 random words, recalled fastest and correctly, setting a record across every country the program had ever visited.
Called back as instructor.
The year after winning, they invited me back — not as a student, but to teach. I was 16.
What I do for fun.
No dashboards involved.
Slam Poetry
I used to perform. Finding the right word for something is the same reason I like data honestly. Both are just trying to say something true.
Dancing
The one thing I do where I'm not thinking about a problem to solve. Just moving. Good to turn your brain off sometimes :)

Genuinely 24/7. The playlist depends on whether I'm working, commuting, or avoiding both. There is always a song on.

I handle coordination, records, and keeping 20+ members on the same page. That picture is from our robot soccer competition. Yes, we built those robots ourselves.

I run content strategy for the club. We reach 500+ students and event attendance has grown 40% since I took over. I use data to figure out what actually gets people to show up, which feels very on brand.

Dec 2024 – Present
I run biweekly workshops on HTML, CSS, and Java for students who want to learn. I like teaching. It makes you realize how much you actually know.
